Salary survey for care international Pakistan

Objective:

Salary survey for care international Pakistan

About Project
CARE International in Pakistan (CIP) is a leading global humanitarian and development organization, actively involved in disaster response and development projects since its establishment in 2005. CIP’s core program areas in Pakistan include health, governance, education, and economic empowerment, achieved through collaboration with local partners and stakeholders.
The objective of this project is to conduct a comprehensive salary survey to update and align CIP’s compensation structure with current industry standards. The salary scales, last revised in 2016, no longer reflect the evolving external environment. This survey aims to provide CIP with up-to-date information on compensation practices among similar organizations, including INGOs and donors.

Services Provided:

Momentum, in partnership with Birches Group, conducted a comprehensive Salary Survey for CARE International Pakistan (CIP), demonstrating our proficiency in compensation and salary assessments for organizations. The objective of this survey was to update and optimize CIP’s compensation structure, ensuring it aligns with industry standards and meets the organization’s strategic goals.

Key Steps:

  1. Phase I: Review of Compensation Policy
    • Conducted a thorough review of CIP’s existing compensation policies and philosophies.
    • Provided strategic recommendations to align the compensation structure with best practices and organizational goals.
  2. Phase II: Job Evaluation
    • Evaluated job roles within CIP to determine their relative worth and ensure comparability with industry standards.
    • Conducted a detailed assessment of job descriptions and grading to establish equity and consistency.
  3. Phase III: Compensation Benchmarking
    • Benchmarked local staff salaries against relevant comparator groups, including INGOs, donors, and similar organizations.
    • Analyzed compensation data to identify market trends and ensure CIP’s salaries are competitive.
  4. Phase IV: Design of New Salary Scale
    • Developed a new salary scale based on the market analysis and aligned with CIP’s compensation philosophy.
    • Ensured the new salary scale reflects industry standards and supports CIP’s strategic objectives for attracting and retaining talent.

The Salary Survey conducted by Momentum, in collaboration with Birches Group, provided CARE International Pakistan with valuable insights into competitive compensation practices. By implementing a structured four-phase approach, we delivered a refined salary structure that aligns with industry standards and supports CIP’s organizational goals. This comprehensive process ensures that CIP’s compensation practices are both competitive and strategically aligned, enhancing their ability to attract and retain top talent.
