Effective Engagement of Youth for Meeting NDC Goals to Address Climate Change

Services Provided:

Momentum prepared the framework for the research and to engage the stakeholders. Completed the data collection exercise as per designated research methods comprising youth involvement in climate change and Environment in Pakistan. Youth in-depth interviews for climate knowledge and awareness, climate action, and youth involvement. Civil society and Government service delivery departments especially the Ministry of Climate Change were engaged through Consultative meetings to measure and gauge the level of awareness in Pakistan. Compiled a detailed research report and prepared policy brief for the line departments with the recommendations that Climate change and sustainable development education need to be at the forefront of our educational curriculum.

  • Momentum prepared a framework for engaging the stakeholders for youth’s involvement in understanding the effects of climate change in Pakistan. This involved a survey on youth’s understanding of the climate change issues and how it was impacting their lives. Based on the findings of the quantitative and qualitative survey, a report was developed and shared with the client.
