Momentum developed strategies for addressing the challenges of WASH in districts where Plan International Pakistan was implementing its project. The strategies focused on coordination on WASH initiatives and resources required to implement the activities. M&E plans were also developed for each of the districts.
Momentum team developed district WASH sector plan for the districts of Chakwal, Muzaffargarh, Layyah and Ghotki. The district plan contained complete details related to WASH sector within the target districts including district wise strategies for coping with the WASH sector challenges of these districts. The institutional mechanism, co-ordination of efforts, financial measures, budgets, behavioral change communication, role of communities etc., monitoring and evaluation parameters etc. are the key inclusions of the said plan.
